THIS COURSE IS FULL - NEXT COURSE BEGINS AUGUST 4TH.

Our new online Moodle Course entitled "Using Moodle" is an 8 week course with up to 20 participants. This is a facilitated online course, which means you will have access to our Moodle experts during the course - to answer questions and who will evaluate your progress as you apply learning to your own "sandbox" Moodle course (included). Course activities take approximately 8 weeks to complete (four hours per week), with a certificate issued upon completion. Each participant will receive a copy of the textbook USING MOODLE and will have access to their sandbox course for six months.

Participants will learn to:

• Use Moodle's Settings, Topic summary and Label tools to frame a Moodle course for their learners
• Utilize Moodle's Resource tools to present course information and content
• Facilitate communication with and among course participants using Forums, Messaging, Chat and Blog features
• Create effective formative and summative assessment activities with Moodle's Assignment, Lesson, Quiz and Workshop modules
• Promote collective resource development with Wikis, Glossaries, Databases and more

Course discussion will also include tool selection, effective course design and managing learners in a collaborative, constructivist learning environment.
