Moodle Administrator Training Agenda

The primary goal of Moodle administrator training is to introduce participants to administrative features of the learning management system. The training will begin with a brief introduction to Moodle. This introduction will be followed by a guided tour of Moodle's administrative menus. Special attention will be paid to user and enrollment management.

  • Moodle Administrative areas and settings – An interactive walk through of the configuration screens
  • Basic User Administration using built in built user management tools
  • Course Creator and other special permissions and the new Roles system
  • Basic course creation/course properties overview (2 Day Teacher Training covers indepth)
  • Advanced User Administration via external authentication plug ins: Active Directory, LDAP, External Database, POP/IMAP email accounts, etc
  • Advance Enrollment via external plug ins: External Database, Active Directory, LDAP, Paypal, Authorize.net
